On Wednesday, China's leader Xi Jinping hailed the mutual ties between China and Russia, during his talks with his Russian counterpart President Vladimir Putin, telling him that "Political mutual trust" between both countries was "continuously deepening."
He also described the efforts of China and Russia to "safeguard international fairness" and "justice", praising the "close and effective strategic coordination" between China and Russia.
Xi highlighted that the Bilateral trade volume achieved a historical milestone, close to 200 billion US dollars.
The Chinese leader reflected that his 42 meetings with Putin in the past 10 years "developed a good working relationship and a deep friendship".
Currently, China is hosting delegations and representatives of 130 countries for the Belt and Road Forum for International Trade, the guest list topped by Russia's President Putin.
