China will adjust the weights of the key yuan index basket in 2024, a foreign exchange trading platform said on Friday.
The China Foreign Exchange Trading System (CFETS), which is supervised by the central bank, will reduce the weight of the US dollar in the CFETS basket of currencies to 19.46% from 19.83%, and the weight of the euro to 18.08% from 18.08% to 18.21%, according to an online statement.
