China will provide $200,000 in emergency humanitarian assistance to the Iranian Red Crescent Society, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said Friday.
According to the Chinese Red Cross Society, the aid will be delivered to the Iranian Red Crescent Society to support relief efforts.
Speaking at a regular press briefing, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said China condemns all indiscriminate attacks targeting civilians and non-military sites.
Guo added that China stands ready to provide further assistance if necessary and will continue supporting the Iranian people during the current crisis.
The announcement comes as humanitarian concerns grow following the ongoing conflict involving Iran.
