China launched two satellites for technological experimentation on Sunday aboard the Long March 1-Y9 rocket.
The rocket lifted off at 11:32 a.m. Beijing time from the Dongfeng Commercial Space Innovation Test Zone near the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwestern China, according to Chinese state news agency Xinhua.
The launch was successful, with both satellites deployed into their designated orbits, marking a further step in China’s expanding space technology and research initiatives.
