During a meeting in St. Petersburg, Russia, on Wednesday, China and Serbia agreed to strengthen their relations and continue implementing the consensus reached by the presidents of both countries.
Wang Yi, Director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, stated during his meeting with Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin, that the recent state visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Serbia yielded positive results.
He emphasized that the leaders of both nations have established strong mutual trust and are working towards building a shared future between China and Serbia. Wang expressed China's readiness to work with Serbia and deepen cooperation between the two sides.
The Serbian official highlighted the depth and stability of the relations between the two countries, noting that President Xi Jinping's successful visit to Serbia has contributed to enhancing and stabilizing their relations in the new era.
He also stated that Serbia greatly values China's commitment to the principle of equality in international affairs and looks forward to developing bilateral cooperation with China across various sectors.
