On Tuesday, the Chinese Foreign Ministry indicated that the United States adds fuel to the fire of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict by providing advanced weapons and Guided bombs or smart bombs to Tel Aviv, according to Chinese media.

During a news conference, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian said: "China believes that the UN Security Council should send a concerted message and promote peace talks between the parties. However, the United States, instead of taking steps to end the deadly conflict, has actually added fuel to the fire.”

Also in this regard, the diplomat revealed that at the May 16 meeting of the UN Security Council most nations urged immediate ceasefire and a political settlement of the conflict.

The Chinese Foreign told the media that "The United States has found itself in unprecedented isolation in the UN Security Council. It is in conflict with conscience and morality. The world community is deeply disappointed by the United States' behavior towards the Palestinian-Israeli conflict."

"The United States all the way professed its commitment to the protection of rights of Muslims, but ignored the rights of the Palestinians," Lijian added.

Lately, the American authorities have approved the sale of $735 million worth of smart weapons to Israel.

Notably, Israel is a great partner to the United States and has no greater friend than the US. Moreover, the two nations' politicians are constantly invoking the US commitment to Israel, and constantly branding any criticism of Israel as “antisemitic.” On this basis, Washington sends $3.8 billion in aid and an additional $8 billion in loan guarantees every year.
