Today, Wednesday, China’s Foreign Ministry warned of the consequences of imposing sanctions on Russian exports.
Zhao Lijian, the Chinese Deputy Director of the Foreign Ministry of said in a press conference that imposing sanctions on Oil and Gas exports would lead to economic issues, which would affect all parties.
He stated that China strongly objects the one-sided sanctions that are not based on international law, adding that imposing sanctions would not bring peace and safety; it would not bring anything except serious economic issues and the quality of life in the countries’ concerned.
He stressed that everyone would lose, as the sanctions would not lead to anything except growing more disputes and confrontations.
