China detected new spot of Coronavirus infections in Fujian province after reporting new six domestic COVID-19 infections in it, Sputnik reported on Sunday.
Authorities added that 18 persons tested positive of COVID-19 in Fujian's major city, Putian, however, they didn't suffer from any symptoms.
In the same context, local media reports said that the new reported infections carry the recently emerged Delta variant.
On Saturday, China reported a rise in Coronavirus daily infections on Friday as the state recorded new 25 COVID-19 cases instead of 17 cases on the previous day
The Chinese authorities said that all new cases are for travelers who were abroad except one domestic case. Moreover, they expressed that there were 21 cases that were free of Coronavirus symptoms.
It is worthy to mention that China is seeing several developments in the COVID-19 medical situation as it revealed that the country experienced a surge in COVID-19 due to the Delta variant.
In addition, it detected three cases with the new COVID-19 variant known as “Mu” last week.
The three cases are two women, and a boy. The first two cases are a 22-year-old woman and a 19-year-old boy who was coming to China from Colombia. The third is a 26 year-old-woman and she was coming from the US.
