At least four people were killed and seven still missing after a cargo ship sank off the east China coast on Sunday morning.
"So far, three people have been rescued and four others were found dead," reported Xinhua news agency.
Citing the Beihai Rescue Bureau of the Ministry of Transport, the news agency noted that rescuers are searching for seven crew members who have gone missing after their cargo ship sank off the coast of Yantai City, east China's Shandong Province.
The agency added that a total of 14 crew members were on board when the accident occurred, pointing out that the rescue bureau received a report of the accident at 4.43 am.
In November, ten people were killed and five people were missing as a passenger ship overturned in southwest China’s Guizhou Province.
Local authorities reported that the overturned passenger ship in southwest China‘s Guizhou Province has risen to 10, according to local authorities.
The accident happened at 4:50 p.m. in the Zangke River in Zangke Township, Liupanshui City. As of 8:10 a.m., 39 people were rescued from the river.
