Channels Set to Air Cairo's Derby

A few hours before Cairo's derby between Al Ahly and Zamalek, here are the channels set to air the game, which will be held later on Saturday.

The Red Devils, who are so near to clinch the Egyptian League title, are set to clash against their arch rivals the White Knights at Cairo Stadium at 21:00 CLT.

The game is set to be aired via On Time Sports, which has the exclusive right to air the Egyptian League clashes.

Both clubs have qualified for the CAF Champions League semi-finals as Al Ahly are set to take on Wydad, while Zamalek are set to clash against Raja.

Last month,CAF announced that the CAF Champions League (CL) semi-finals matches will be played over two leg.

In a statement, football’s governing body in Africa said that the first leg will be held on September 25, and 26 in Casablanca, while the second leg will be held in Cairo on October 2, and 3.

Regarding the final’s venue, CAF put 3 options; if Al Ahly and Zamalek qualify for the final, the match will be held in Cairo.

“If the two Moroccan clubs reach the final the match will be held in Casablanca,” CAF noted.

The third option will be a neutral venue if a team from Egypt clash against a Moroccan club.
