Ceramica Cleopatra came from behind on Tuesday to hold a 1-1 draw against Aswan in the Egyptian Premier League to rank sixth in the league's table.
Mohamed Shabana opened the scoring for Aswan before the break, when Amr El Halawani swung up an excellent cross from a corner into Cleopatra's penalty area, where Shabana planted the ball into the net with a powerful header to make it (1-0).
Mohamed Ibrahim netted the equaliser for Cleopatra in the 83rd minute, after unleashing a left-foot shot, which hit Aswan's defender Mohamed Gaber Mido to change its direction past goalkeeper.
The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) had cancelled a goal for Cleopatra due to an offside on Mohamed Ibrahim, who netted the goal.
