Albert Uderzo:

Albert Uderzo, French comic artist and creator of beloved Asterix comics, died at the age of 92. He created the French comic book artist in 1959 with the writer René Goscinny.

Chilean writer Luis Sepulveda died aged 70 in his Spanish exile due to complications from coronavirus.

Per Olov Enquist:

Per Olov Enquist, known as P. O. Enquist, was one of the most prominent Swedish writers. He died aged 85.

Irrfan Khan:

Bollywood superstar Irrfan Khan, known for his roles in prominent films such as "Slumdog Millionaire" and "Jurassic World", passed at the age of 53 from neuroendocrine tumor.

Idir:

Algerian singer and musician Hamid Cheriet, better known by his stage name Idir or Yidir, 70, passed away at the age of 70.

Richard Wayne Penniman:

Richard Wayne Penniman, known as Little Richard, was a famous American singer and a pioneer of rock and roll in the 1950s. He died at the age of 87.

Michel Piccoli:

French actor Jacques Daniel Michel Piccoli was a French actor, producer, and film director with a career spanning 70 years. He passed away at 94.

Hassan Hosny:

Hassan Hosny was one of the most prominent Egyptian comedy actors, whose career spanned for nearly six decades. He died aged 89.

Christo Vladimirov Yavashev:

Bulgarian artist Christo Vladimirov Yavashev, known as "Christo", was famous for wrapping large monuments in fabric. He passed away at 84.

Ragaa El Gedawy:

Veteran Egyptian actress Ragaa El Gedawy died at the age of 81 from coronavirus. She was one of the most beloved actresses and one of the most prominent in the Middle East with a fruitful six-decade career.

Ennio Morricone:

Italian composer Ennio Morricone, who composed the soundtracks for more than 500 films, especially the works of Sergio Leone, passed away at the age of 91.

Olivia de Havilland:

British-American actress Olivia de Havilland, known for her role in "Gone with the Wind", died at the age of 104 years.

Chadwick Bozeman:

US actor Chadwick Boseman, best known for playing "Black Panther" in the hit Marvel superhero franchise, died of cancer at 43.

Juliette Gréco:

French singer-actress Juliette Gréco sang tracks with lyrics written by French poets such as Jacques Prévert and Boris Vian and singers like Jacques Brel and Serge Gainsbourg. She died at the age of 93.

Kenzō Takada:

Japanese designer Kenzō Takada, better known as "Kenzo", who founded the worldwide brand Kenzo, passed away aged 81.

Sean Connery:
