PM Mostafa Madbouly witnessed on Thursday the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) and its Vietnamese counterpart to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries, in the presence of Vietnamese Deputy Premier Tran Luu Quang.
The agreement was signed on the Egyptian side by Rami Abul-Naga, CBE Deputy Governor, and his Vietnamese counterpart Pham Thanh Ha
CBE delegation affirmed the readiness to provide various facilities and expertise to meet the needs of the Central Bank of Vietnam in terms of transferring knowledge to banking cadres, in addition to exchanging experts and training programs between the two sides.
It was noted that the signed agreement contributes to enhancing the exchange of viewpoints between the two sides with regard to monetary and foreign exchange policies.
The MoU include training workers in the banking sector, exchanging experiences and general information related to amendments and developments in banking laws and regulations.
