CBE Suspends Work of Banks on Occasion of New Hijri Year

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) decided to suspend the work of all banks operating in Egypt on Thursday, July 11, on the occasion of the Hijri New Year 1446.

The Central Bank stated - in a statement Friday - that work will resume on the morning of Sunday, July 14.
