Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) Hassan Abdullah signed Tuesday the charter of the We Finance Code initiative, in cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), with the aim of increasing the availability of financing for medium, small and micro projects led by women and entrepreneurs in Egypt and providing them with the necessary technical support.

This came in the presence of the First Vice President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Jurgen Rigterinck, the Bank’s Vice President for Banking Affairs Matthew Patron, and a number of central bank officials.
