The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) decided to suspend work in all banks, starting from Tuesday, June 27, until Monday, July 3, provided that work will resume on Tuesday, July 4.
This comes on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha and the 12th anniversary of the June 30 Revolution.
PM Mostafa Madbouly issued a decision that this period will be considered an official paid holiday, for workers in ministries, government agencies, public bodies, local administration units, and public sector companies.
