Carole Samaha Unveils 1st Song from Upcoming Christmas Album

Lebanese superstar, Carole Samaha unveiled Monday her first song from her upcoming from her Christmas album, "Christmas Carole".

The song is entitled "Min Sini la Sini" and is written by Samaha and arranged by Elio kallassi.

The singer is known for her breathtaking performance of Christmas songs and hymns such as “Nahonu Sahiroun,” and “Lailet Eid”.

With the release of this album, she will be one of the few female Lebanese stars who released their Christmas albums alongside Fayrouz, Majida El Roubi, Hiba Tawaji, and Julia Boutros.

It is worth mentioning that Samaha, born on July 25, 1972, is a Lebanese singer, actress, and performer.

She has released six studio albums. Samaha has a master’s degree in acting and directing, which she earned in 1999 from the Saint Joseph University of Beirut.

She was a classical actress before starting her pop music career and worked extensively with Mansour Rahbani and Marwan Rahbani.

In 2004, the Lebanese superstar won the Arab Music Award for the best rising female singer. She has also won multiple Murex d’Or awards and was nominated for the best Arabia New Act in the MTV Europe Music Awards 2008.

She returned in 2007 to the theater to play Zenobia in the Rahbani musical with the same name and appeared the next year in the movie “Bahr al nojoum” alongside other Lebanese stars.

Samaha starred in Lebanese legendary singer-actress Sabah biographical series “Al Shahroura”, which premiered in Ramadan 2011.

In 2013, she was a judge in the x-factor Arabia and she was the mentor for the bands such as Young Pharoz, Maraya, and Les Bledards Ninja.

Samaha, a Melkite Catholic, married Walid Mustafa, a porced Egyptian with a daughter from a previous marriage, in a civil ceremony in Limassol, Cyprus following an 18-month love story, on November 1, 2013.

She gave birth to a baby girl, Tala, on August 31, 2015.

Since 2014, Samaha has been residing in Egypt with her husband.
