Singer Carmen Soliman ignited the catwalk runway stage of Saturday's winter fashion show in Cairo.

Soliman is preparing for another concert at the 28th Arab Music Festival on Monday at the Grand Theater of the Egyptian Opera House.

During an exclusive interview with Sada el Balad English (SEE), Soliman said she was really glad to participate in the event, wishing its organizers more successes in the future.

"Every year, we find new ideas that fashion designers try to present and this year, in particular, they have reached a sweeping vision," she pointed out.

As for the amazing dress she was wearing, it was designed by Mohanad Kojak, Stylist Youmna Moustafa, and jewelry from Bijoux.

Soliman recently released her new song "Tefanan", in the Gulf dialect, via YouTube. Another song called "Basatak" will be released soon. Basatak is written by Samy Ali, melody by Mustafa Gad, the distribution of Maz and directed by Amir Rawani.

"Now, I focus on singing instead of acting but, if I receive a good offer, I would go to another acting adventure," she added.

As for her family, Soliman said that they have always supported her in the career, whether it's her sister, parents or husband.

Soliman has sung the sequel of the series "Hekayati" for the star Yasmine Sabri, which was broadcast last Ramadan and was received with great success.

Soliman is an Egyptian singer, who won the first season of Arab Idol in 2012, and a recording contract with Platinum Records.
