Careem Egypt, a specialist in smart transportation, has announced the launch of a range of new services at competitive prices to reduce the cost of transportation after increasing fuel prices.

A statement issued by the company said that the services of "Go Mini" and "Sawa", in Cairo and some other cities, provide a convenient transport experience with affordable prices.

"Go Mini" service is available in several areas in Cairo, including Al-Abbasiya, Al-Azhar, Downtown, Old Cairo, Mokattam, Maadi, Nasr City, Fifth Avenue, Helwan, and El-Manial. The service will be available in the rest of Cairo soon.

The service has also been made available in the cities of Port Said and Tanta. It provides modern small-sized vehicles with fewer engine capacity, which reduces fuel consumption and car maintenance expenses, thus providing the company with the opportunity to provide the service at more affordable prices.

General Manager of Careem Egypt Wael Abou El Ela said that the company has decided to expand its service in Cairo following its success in Alexandria at a fixed price and a reduction of up to 40 percent during the first phase of the service.

Through the Sawa service, the customer can share the trip with another client, who is heading for the same destination by reserving one seat after the destination is determined.

Sawa will be active in 7 areas, including Mohandessin, 6th of October, Smart Village, Zamalek, Fifth Avenue from 6 am to 11 pm.
