Data from the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMS), headed by Maj. Gen. Khairat Barakat, revealed an increase in the value of Egyptian exports to China, recording $1.7 billion during the first 11 months of 2022, compared to $1.4 billion during the same period in 2021, an increase of 20.8%.
The value of Egyptian imports from China reached $13.2 billion during the first 11 months of 2022 compared to $13.1 billion during the same period in 2021, an increase of 0.6%.
The CAPMS indicated an increase in the value of trade exchange between Egypt and China, reaching $14.9 billion during the first 11 months of 2022, compared to $14.5 billion during the same period in 2021, an increase of 2.6%.
The commodities Egypt exported to China include fuel, mineral oils, cotton, fruits, and leather.
