CAPMAS: US Investments in Egypt Grew to $9.2 Billion in 2020/21

The total value of US investments in Egypt grew to about $9.2 billion during the fiscal year 2020/2021, compared to $7.7 billion during the fiscal year 2019/2020, an increase of about 19.8%.

And the data of the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) monitored the development of the volume of trade exchange between Egypt and the United States of America (USA), as it rose to $ 8 billion during the first 10 months of 2022, compared to $ 7.2 billion during the same period in 2021, an increase of 12.2%.

The value of Egyptian exports to the USA amounted to $2 billion during the first 10 months of 2022, compared to $2.1 billion over the same period in 2021, with a slight decrease of 5.2%, while the value of Egyptian imports from the USA recorded $6 billion during the first 10 months. From 2022, compared to $ 5.1 billion during the same period in 2021, an increase of 19.3%.
