Canadian Prime Minister (PM) Justin Trudeau confirmed in a call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that he intends to participate in the "Peace Conference" on Ukraine to be held in Switzerland.
A statement issued by Trudeau's office on Monday said the two leaders "discussed the upcoming peace summit on Ukraine, which will be held on June 15-16, 2024, in Switzerland."
The statement added that Trudeau "indicated that he hopes to participate (in the conference) and will later support President Zelenskyy's efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace."
