Canada has committed an additional $200 million in military assistance to Ukraine under the PURL program, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Zelensky announced the funding on his Telegram channel, stating that the latest package, confirmed by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, represents a significant contribution to Ukraine’s defense support efforts.
He added that Canada’s total military assistance to Kyiv under the program has now exceeded $830 million.
The announcement comes as Western allies continue to expand long-term military and financial support for Ukraine amid its ongoing conflict with Russia, with sustained focus on defense capability, equipment supply, and strategic aid coordination.
