Luciana Lamorgese, the Italian Interior Minister, hailed arresting Maria Licciardi by Carabinieri authorities upon the directive orders of Naples Prosecutors.

Italian News Agency cited Carabinieri press statements about the mission of arresting Licciardi. The authorities described that the arrest was captured at Ciampino Airport, Rome, while checking in luggage before heading to Spain, saying: “She didn’t bat an eyelash when the officers blocked her and served the warrant signed by the Naples prosecutors’ office."

She is considered one of the most active and dangerous members in the world of criminal leagues especially Camorra syndicate.
