The music video – from her upcoming album “Romance”— is directed by Dave Meyers and features the 22-year-old singer playing a range of characters.
Moreover, Camila is set to perform her new songs “Shameless” and “Liar” at “Saturday Night Live” for the very first time on October 12, which she released last Friday.
“These songs are basically the story of my life the past couple years and the stories I’ve accumulated – I knew for a long time I wanted my album to be called ‘Romance’ because these stories are about falling in love,” Cabello said in a statement.
Moreover, she is also set to star in a new iteration of Cinderella in a Sony Pictures update of the classic story, due out in Feb. 2021.
The film is based on an original idea from James Corden, who will be producing alongside Leo Pearlman of Fulwell 73.
Cabello will also be integrally involved in creating new music for the movie, which has been fast-tracked for production.
Cabello, born Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, is a Cuban-American singer, songwriter and actress.
She rose to fame as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, formed on "The X Factor" in 2012, signing a joint record deal with Syco Music and Epic Records.
The singer – while a part of Fifth Harmony – began to establish herself as a solo artist with the release of the collaborations “I Know What You Did Last Summer” with Shawn Mendes, and “Bad Things” with Machine Gun Kelly, the latter reaching number four on the Billboard Hot 100 U.S chart.
She left the group in December 2016, which afterward released several other collaborations, including “Hey Ma” by Pitbull and J Balvin for The Fate of the Furious soundtrack.
