The pop star had recently shared details about "Familia".

She revealed that her upcoming album was inspired by spending more time with her family during the coronavirus lockdowns, which made her reconnect more with her Latin roots as well as allowed her to slow down and enjoy some private time away from the celebrity spotlight, which brought much closer to her family.

Cabello told Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 that she wanted it to be that kind of family affair because it would make her happy as well as would make her life better and that is what she wanted and was trying to manifest with the album.

The pop star also opened that her new single "Don’t Go Yet" was just her being free, noting that being in Miami for so long and having more family around her and speaking Spanish more brought her back.

"I think my roots went deeper in a way that I really needed. I think this album for me was a manifestation. The name of my album is ‘Familia’. I think for me, that was neglected for so long too because I was never in the same place for more than a week or two," she added.

Cabello continued: "So I think this was a chance for me to really consciously work on and invest in what I think makes me and human beings truly happy, which is your relationships and your connection to the people around you.”

On the other hand, the soloist will is set to make her film debut in the reimagining of “Cinderella“, which debuts on September 3.

The remake was written and directed by Kay Cannon, who is best known for creating the “Pitch Perfect” franchise.

It also features Idina Menzel as the stepmother, Nicholas Galitzine as the prince, Pierce Brosnan and Minnie Driver as the king and queen, and Billy Porter as “the Fab G,”.

In the musical retelling of the classic fairytale, Cabello stars as Ella a talented designer who dreams of having her dress shop, though she is held back not only by her stepmother but also by the way things have always been done in the stubbornly old-fashioned kingdom where she lives.

The movie will feature original songs from Cabello and Menzel.
