Former Al-Hilal coach Gabriel Calderón moved closer to manage Zamalek, to succeed Patrice Carteron.
Zamalek's officials agreed on all the details, including all financial details and his assistants.
The Whites' officials contacted the Argentinian coach, informing him with board of directors' final decision whether he leads Zamalek or not.
The management is looking forward to sign new coach during the upcoming hours as the club gears up for their significant semi-final encounter Raja.
Patrice Carteron had left the White Knights after he paid the release clause in his contract.
In statements to "Yallakora," Calderón expressed his interest in leading the club.
"Zamalek go on negotiations with my agent, but I know that I am not the only one, who is in the negotiation table," the Argentinian manager said.
"I am ready to lead the club, but we must agree on the other issues before beginning my journey with the White Knights," he concluded.
It worth mentioning Zamalek's Mortada Mansour revealed that there are three names nominated for the managerial seat; Christian Gross, Gabriel Calderón, and Jesualdo Ferreira.
