Cairo, Jan. 26 (SEE)- President of Cairo University Mohamed Osman El-Khosht declared that all Laboratories’ equipments and staff are ready to establish the first faculty of Nanotechnology in Egypt.
This was in his meeting with board of directors of Egypt Nanotechnology Center at Cairo University (EGNC-CU).
During the meeting, El-Khosht stated that officials in the meantime are setting the new faculty’s bylaw and curriculums for both University and postgraduate studies.
He also pointed out also to the agreement held with Hiroshima University to offer dual Bachelor degree in nanotechnology; as this domain is likely to help in one of the most important future jobs.
“Nanotechnology field affects many economic and industrial ones like; Information Technology (IT), energy, environment, medicine and water treatment”, he added.
It’s noticeable that EGNC-CU plays a critical role in training generations of researchers in nanotechnology and its applications in different fields.
