The Cairo International Book Fair’s management announced that in its 53rd session visitors will be allowed to enter the headquarters of the fair at Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC) starting today Thursday regardless of certificates of receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.

The exhibition management stated that this condition applies to the presence in closed areas designated for cultural and artistic activities only while taking all recognized precautionary measures for public safety.

It was also decided to open five additional sales outlets besides the electronic platform, to accommodate the largest number of visitors and simplify procedures for them.

Children under 12 years old are allowed to enter for free in addition to the elderly and people with those with special needs.

The exhibition receives the public daily from Thursday and continues until February 7.

The 53rd session of the Cairo International Book Fair is held under the theme “Egypt’s identity, culture and the question of future.”
