Cairo International Airport Ready For 2019 AFCON

The Ministry of Civil Aviation allocated a lounge at the Cairo International Airport to receive the national teams, which will participate in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, that will run from June 21 to 19 July.

"As part of the efforts exerted by all sectors of the country to achieve success in the upcoming AFCON, Cairo airport continues to receive the national teams which will participate in this tournament, in addition to the delegations and fans who are willing to support their national football team," the Egyptian Football Federation (EFA) said on its official page on Facebook.

 

"The Ministry of Civil Aviation allocated a lounge at Cairo International Airport for the AFCON. This lounge has been decorated by the flags of the teams participating in the upcoming showpiece tournament, in addition to King Tut, the official Mascot for 2019 AFCON," the EFA added.

It is worth mentioning Egypt will play the opening match against Zimbabwe on Friday, June 21 at Cairo Stadium. (22:00 CLT)
