Cairo hosted a high-level meeting on Sunday bringing together the mediators of the Gaza Strip ceasefire agreement—Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey—alongside representatives from several Palestinian factions.

The meeting was attended by Minister Hassan Rashad, Head of Egyptian General Intelligence Service; Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; and İbrahim Kalın, Head of the Turkish National Intelligence Organization.

According to Extra News TV channel, the meeting aimed to push forward ongoing negotiations regarding the implementation of the second phase of the Gaza Strip ceasefire agreement.

The participants expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the Egyptian efforts led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, as well as the intensive efforts exerted by all parties to fulfill the provisions of US President Trump's plan, in accordance with the outcomes of the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit.

The meeting witnessed discussions on the proposed roadmap to complete the implementation of the agreement and was characterized by a positive atmosphere.

It was agreed that completing the implementation of President Trump's plans is essential—particularly all provisions of the first phase—with all parties bearing their respective responsibilities.

This collective commitment aims to achieve a sustainable calm, paving the way for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, which will reflect positively on improving living conditions and ending the suffering of the Palestinian citizens there.
