A source in the Confederation of the African Football (CAF) said on Tuesday that it would ban Zamalek's chairman Mortada Mansour from attending the CAF Champions League finals.
Zamalek will face off Al Ahly in the final on Friday at Cairo Stadium.
Earlier today, the Egyptian Olympic Committee sent an official letter to the EFA’s normalization committee of informing them to ban Mansour from entering Cairo Stadium for the Zamalek and Al Ahly clash, in the final of the CAF Champions League.

The source told Yallakora that CAF will implement the EFA's decision regarding banning the White Knights chairman from attending the game.
Last month, the Egyptian Olympic Committee banned Mansour from practicing any sporting activities for four years and called for running new elections for Zamalek’s presidency.
It also banned the Whites’ president from holding any meetings or setting up any general assemblies during the suspension period.
The Egyptian Committee also prevented him from taking any official decisions, related to any financial issues.
“Zamalek’s vice president and the board of directors’ members must call for holding an ordinary general assembly. Its purpose is to call for running elections in the board of directors’ vacant seats, especially the chairman seat,” it concluded.
