Egypt's Cabinet spokesman Nader Saad revealed on Sunday the details of the 'Ahlan Ramadan' fairs, which will be opened on January 1.
In televised remarks to 'Ala Masoulity' talkshow, aired on 'Sada El-Balad' TV channel, Saad said that the “Ahlan Ramadan” fairs used to kick off only one week before holy month of Ramadan, yet the government decided to open these fairs on January 1, across all governorates to provide commodities at lower prices for citizens.
He added that this decision came to support the Egyptian citizen in light of the current circumstances.
Moreover, the spokesman emphasized that there is no problem with the state's stock of any commodity; Even the rice, adding that the current year witnessed greater production in this commodity than previous years.
