The Cabinet approved an exceptional package of incentive measures proposed by the ministries of tourism and civil aviation for airlines operating in the Egyptian market, in a move aimed at supporting flight operations amid ongoing regional developments.

The package, approved during the Cabinet’s weekly meeting chaired by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, will be applied for three months from June through the end of August 2026 at Hurghada International Airport and Sharm El Sheikh International Airport.

The measures include reductions in selected airport fees and discounts on ground service charges, provided airlines increase the total number of flights operated to Egypt during the year.

The Cabinet also approved a number of settlement agreements reviewed by the expert committee formed under a 2015 prime ministerial decree, as well as decisions of the ministerial engineering committee concerning project assignments and additional work orders linked to projects under the ministries of housing, transport, higher education, and religious endowments.
