Egyptian singer-actress, Bushra has recently joined the cast of TV series “El Ekhteyar ll” (The Choice 2), which is set to be screened in Ramadan 2021.
The actress who plays a critical role in the series. Bushra is scheduled to begin filming her scenes in the coming days.
The series is written by Hany Sarhan and directed by Peter Mimi.
It also stars Karim Abdel Aziz, Ahmed Mekky, Mohamed Farag, Hady El-Gyar, Ahmed Dash, Injy El Mokkaddem, Asma Abo Elyazeid, Eyad Nassar, and others.
Synergy, the production company behind the series, announced on June 10, that Abdel Aziz will be the leading actor in the sequel.
The first season co-starred Amir Karara as martyr Colonel Ahmed el-Mansy in the series. El-Mansy was the commander of Sa’ka Forces (Thunderbolt Forces) battalion 103, who was martyred with several other members of his battalion on July 7th, 2017.
They were killed during clashes between Egyptian army forces and militants in a terror attack launched on an Egyptian armed forces checkpoint in El-Barth Village, Rafah, North Sinai.
The series featured many celebrities making guest appearances including Ahmed El Sakka, Diab, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Ahmed Salah Hosny, Mohamed Emam, Maged El Masry, Eyad Nassar, Asser Yassin, Mohamed Ragab, and Karim Mahomud Abdel Aziz.
Bushra participated last Ramadan with TV series "Al-Qamar Akher Al-Dunya".
It also stars Moamen Nour, Madeleine Tabar, Hisham Ismail, Tharaa Goubail, Hoda Eletreby, Sandy Ali, and others.
The series is written by Mahmoud Al-Wardani and directed by Tamer Hamza.
It is worth mentioning that Bushra, born on October 5, 1976, is the daughter of the well-known Egyptian writer Ahmed Reza.
She is best known for her roles in films such as "Geddo Habiby" (2012), "Mr. and Mrs. Oweis" (2012), "Ana msha maeahim" (2007), "Ean aleashq walhuaa" (2006), and "Alexandria - New York" (2004),
