A group of terrorists carried out an attack on February 10 against a detachment of Burkinabe forces stationed in Djoroum, a town in the Boucle du Mouhoun region, according to state television, which reported that "the reaction of the elements supported by aircraft allowed the terrorists to inflict heavy losses."
According to a report by the Burkinabe army, 73 terrorists were "killed", including leaders of a group calling itself "Support for Islam and Muslims", which is active in the forests of Kossoumsoro and Ghassan in the Nyala region of the Bouklé du Mouhoun region in Burkina Faso.
