The British University in Egypt is proud to announce its continuous initiative towards the community service and wellbeing, and this is by producing and distributing BUE made hand sanitisers, in order to help in eliminating the spread of the Corona Virus (COVID-19).

This initiative was taken by the Faculty of Pharmacy under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty Professor Mohy Mazar, together with BUE Alumnus, in collaboration with the Marketing, Public Relations, Student Activities and Alumni departments, under the supervision of Mrs. Hanan El Saadawi.

The BUE President Professor Ahmed Hamad stated that the BUE will continue in its commitment to this social role, helping to prevent the risk of spreading the virus by distributing free samples of Hand Sanitizers for the safety and security of all Egyptians without any exceptions.

On his part, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the British University in Egypt, Mr. Mohamed Farid Khamis, added that he is ready to support all the National initiatives that are taken due to his belief in the importance of the role of institutions in adhering to the community’s obligations towards the public in general and to support the comprehensive plan of the government is facing the spread of the emerging Coronavirus in particular.
