“This year feels like a stopped time, and as the end of the year approaches, I think there will be a lot of people with increased anxiety and depression,” V wrote in a message via Bangtan Blog. “For today, I hope that white flowers will come down to your hearts and feel a little warm comfort and happiness.”
Jimin also surprised fans by dropping a new song on Christmas Eve, called 'Christmas Love', hoping that their fans would embrace their inner children around the holidays.

The K-pop star shared a blog post for ARMYs, BTS fans’ name, explaining the inspiration behind 'Christmas Love.'
“ARMY, hello. This is Jimin. Did you receive my Christmas gift?. I wanted all of you to hear this song, and I’m very, very happy that it was possible,” he wrote. “I’m here today to tell you a little bit about the reason why I’m sharing such a bright song during such difficult times.”
“As you can tell by the lyrics, this song contains the emotions I felt in one of my favorite childhood memories, which is when I first saw thick snow falling,” the BTS member added. “I think that as we grow, we really grow to miss our childhood. Regardless of the whether it’s this kind of situation or not, I think that we remember our pure, innocent selves of the past and want to return to those days.”
BTS group will be delivering a pre-recorded performance on SBS Gayo Daejeon for Christmas. They will also make an appearance at the 62nd Japan Record Awards on 30 December, as well as joining their Big Hit Labels family at the 2021 New Year's Eve Live Concert on 31 December.
