Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak will perform at the 63rd annual Grammy Awards, which is set to take place at Los Angeles Convention Center on March 14.
The Recording Academy invited Wednesday the duo's new band "Silk Sonic" to the upcoming award show, which recognizes achievements in the music industry, after Mars asked for a chance to perform in a recent tweet on Sunday.

Also performing at this year's ceremony will be Taylor Swift, Cardi B, BTS, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Roddy Ricch, Post Malone, Harry Styles, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, Bad Bunny, Black Pumas, DaBaby Mickey Guyton, Haim Lil Baby, Brandi Carlile, Brittany Howard, Miranda Lambert, Chris Martin, John Mayer and Maren Morris.
Styles is set to open the Grammys with a mega performance, Jack Sussman, CBS’ executive VP of specials, music and live events, confirmed on Wednesday.
The ceremony will air live at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT on CBS Television Network. It will also be available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.

Mars and .Paak announced on Feb. 26 that they have formed a band, called Silk Sonic. The pair released their first single on March 5th.
They had also finished an album that will feature legendary Bootsy Collins. It is not yet known when the album will be released.
