Jamie Lynn Spears, Britney's younger sister and former Nickelodeon star, is set to play a more significant role in her sister’s conservatorship, new court documents show.
Jamie Lynn has been named the trustee of Britney’s “SJB Revocable Trust,”— which was initially set to protect the pop star and her children’s finances, according to court records obtained by Us Weekly.
The former Nickelodeon star has reportedly requested that the court authorize Fidelity Financial Management to serve as a financial adviser and to create "blocked accounts" to hold her sister’s assets.

Jamie Lynn will ensure the usage of these funds and cash for two children, Sean and Jayden Federline, in the event that the “Oops!… I Did It Again” singer passes away.
The “SJB Revocable Trust” was reportedly established in 2004, four years prior to when her conservatorship started in 2008.
It is reported that Britney’s trust pertains to her bank accounts and personal items such as clothes, jewelry, artwork, and furniture.
Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, and her co-conservator, Andrew Wallet, signed off on Jamie Lynn’s request to be named a trustee.
The pop star's mom, Lynne Spears, has also requested to be involved in her daughter’s finances.

Last week, a judge ruled that Britney’s conservatorship will be extended for at least another six months following the singer's request to keep her father from reasserting the broad control over her life and career.
Her manager, Jodi Montgomery, currently serves as her temporary conservator.
The arrangement has been the subject of widespread online protests in recent months, with many arguing it is doing the performer more harm than good.
Britney’s career choices, her personal life and her relationship with her children have all been under the control of her father in recent years.
Kevin Federline, her ex-husband, has custody of her sons, with the pop star premised to visit frequently.
