British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for the first time since he took office as British Prime Minister.
The British Prime Minister's office reported - according to the British "Sky News" channel - that Sunak had arrived in Ukraine today on his first visit to Kyiv to meet with Zelensky in order to confirm the United Kingdom's continued support for Ukraine.
For his part, Zelensky said, "Since the first days of the war, Ukraine and the United Kingdom have been among the strongest allies.. During today's meeting, we discussed the most important issues for both our countries and for global security.. Together we are stronger and we will achieve the desired results."
