United Kingdom (UK) Prime Minister (PM) Boris Johnson canceled his planned visit to Tokyo, Japan, due to the growing tensions over Ukraine, according to the government.
In the same context, British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss expressed her desire to visit Ukraine this week.
"Looking forward to visiting Ukraine this week to support," Truss tweeted.

This came in response to a post published by the Ukrainian Foreign Minister (FM) Dmytro Kuleba, to thank the UK minister for her firm stance towards Russia.

It is worth mentioning that, United Nations Security Council (UNSC) will hold a meeting, later Monday, on the Ukrainian crisis.
The session comes, amid the threats facing Kyiv after Russia bolstered military forces along its borders, with a number of Western countries threatening to impose sanctions on Moscow if it invades Ukraine.
The meeting will be convened, at the request of the US, which is intensifying its efforts with NATO countries to deter Moscow from invading Ukraine. It is expected that all major players will compete in public over the possibility of a Russian invasion and its global impact.
US Ambassador to the United Nations (UN) Linda Thomas Greenfield said Russia’s actions posed a “clear threat to international peace and security and the UN charter.”
Moreover, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian announced that he will travel to Ukraine with his German counterpart, Annalena Berbuk, as part of efforts to stop the escalation of the conflict with Russia.
Le Drian wrote on Twitter that senior diplomats will visit the country on February 7 and 8.
The Foreign Ministry in Berlin confirmed that Barbuk would travel to Kyiv “soon”, but did not give a specific date.
On the other hand, the US State Department affirmed that the United States, the United Kingdom, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and European allies are closely coordinating to urge Russia to de-escalate and follow the path of diplomacy.
On Saturday, the US State Department said, in a statement on its website, that US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman discussed with British National Security Adviser Stephen Lovegrove in Washington, the Russian military build-up on the Ukrainian border and the ongoing diplomatic efforts in this regard.
According to Sky News Arabia, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov confirmed that there would be no war with Ukraine.
