British Amb. Discusses Flight Ban Decision with Aviation Officials

British Ambassador in Egypt Jeffery Adams met with civil aviation officials on Sunday in the ministry base in order to discuss Britian's decision to ban flights to the Cairo Airport seven days.

The officials expressed their discontent with British Airways taking the unilateral decision without notifying the Egyptian authorities

The British ambassador apologized to the Ministry of Civil Aviation for failing to inform the Egyptian authorities before the issuance of this decision, stressing that the decision to suspend flights is not related to the security measures of Egyptian airports, especially in light of the development of the security system for all Egyptian airports, Including the British Traffic Commission.

The two sides stressed the continuation of joint efforts and working together to resolve this problem as soon as possible, expressing the depth of the relations and ties between Egypt and Britain and the continuation of cooperation between them to maintain the safety and safety of passengers as a strategic goal for the Egyptian state.
