British Airways has announced the extension of its flight suspension to Israel through March 2025.
This decision aligns British Airways with a growing list of airlines that will not resume flights to Israel in 2024, including EasyJet, Wizz Air, Virgin Atlantic, and Delta Air Lines.
The Lufthansa Group, which includes Austrian Airlines, Swiss International Air Lines, Brussels Airlines, and Lufthansa itself, has extended its flight suspension to Israel until November 10 of the upcoming year.
Meanwhile, Eurowings, another group member, has canceled all its flights until November 30.
This increase in flight cancellations to and from Israel comes amid ongoing regional tensions due to the continued Israeli military actions in Gaza and Lebanon.
