Ahead of the coronation ceremony for Charles III as King of the United Kingdom, security preparations in the United Kingdom (UK) are at their highest levels to ensure that the royal event ends without any breaches.
Snipers will be deployed on the rooftops, in addition to activating air cover technologies and facial recognition.
More than 11,000 police will be present, in addition to tactical firearms units, machine guns, and pistols, and there will be armed response vehicles on standby.
Senior officers plan to use facial recognition technology for the first time to identify suspects who might try to mingle with the assembled crowd.
Air cover will also be provided by three twin-engine Airbus helicopters from the Metropolitan Police Air Support Unit, supported by aircraft from other forces.
Also, sniffer dogs, under the direction of their trainers, will perform random checks for explosives.
