Reuters reported that the British government announced sanctions targeting networks it said had contributed to financing settler violence in the West Bank.
This move comes amid growing Western efforts to counter escalating violence and settlement activity in the Palestinian territories.
In a related development, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot announced a decision to bar Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich from entering France.
The French measures also included banning entry to four leaders of settlement organizations and 21 settlers whom Paris said were involved in violence in the West Bank.
