On Sunday, London and Brussels face a crucial decision on the Brexit trade deal, after a week-long stalemate that makes UK's "no-deal" exit from the EU on December 31 seems more likely, according to Reuters.

The negotiators have a chance until evening to break the impasse over the arrangements, which would guarantee Britain's zero-tariff and zero-quota access to the EU’s single market.

The talks may continue if they are not able to reach an agreement by the deadline.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Friday that the most likely outcome is "no deal."

The negotiators met in Brussels on Saturday, according to a British government source.

The source added that the negotiations were very difficult, and " Until now, the offer on the table from the European Union remains unacceptable."
