The US C-Ram defense system has shortly intercepted several rockets fired toward the U.S Embassy in the Green Zone, which houses foreign diplomatic missions as well as government facilities, in Baghdad.
The rockets were most likely launched by Iranian backed militias in Iraq, citing Telegram groups who were promising an attack tonight several hours ago.
The US air defense has managed to intercept three rockets so far.
