Breaking: 15 Injured in Sunni Mosque Blast in Afghanistan’s Kandahar

An explosion occurred inside a Sunni mosque in Kandahar state, eastern Afghanistan, wounding at least fifteen people and shattering the windows of buildings on the other side of the road, according to international reports.

Afghanistan authorities revealed that said at least 15 people including the imam of the mosque and other civilians were wounded in the blast which occurred in the Spin Ghar district of Nangarhar province. The authorities also noted that there were no fatalities in the blast.

It’s worth mentioning that the world leaders have held previously several talks in Italy in order to resolve the Afghanistan issue, which represents a global threat, and combating its devastating effects is a matter of urgency for governments, international organizations, civil society, the UN, and, in fact, every human.
