Brazil's Foreign Minister has announced that the country will arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Minister Yoav Gallant if they enter Brazil.
This statement aligns with the legal proceedings announced by the UK's Foreign Secretary, David Lammy, regarding Netanyahu's potential visit to the United Kingdom, in light of an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court.
Speaking at the G7 Summit held in Fiume, Italy, Secretary Lammy reiterated the UK's commitment to the Rome Statute and its obligations under international and international humanitarian law, as reported by Italy's "La Sicilia" newspaper today.
The G7 Summit, hosted by Italy over two days, focuses on pressing global issues including the conflict in the Middle East, the Gaza war, support for Ukraine, and security in the Indo-Pacific region.
